Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yueris Fobbs (ranked 4569 p4p, 24653 weight class) and Jay Steven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jay Steven has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yueris Fobbs! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jay Steven! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fobbs throws out a loose jab but Steven uses good head movement to avoid it. Steven scores with a jab. Steven rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fobbs moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Fobbs lands with a good body shot. A looping hook to the body misses from Fobbs. Steven does a little dance to reset his feet. Steven darts in looking for a takedown but Fobbs gets double underhooks and turns Steven into the cage. Fobbs tests Steven's chin there with a solid looking shot.
It looks like Jay Steven has been cut. Steven takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Fobbs misses with a straight left. Fobbs lands with a shot to the body. Fobbs connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Steven momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No joy there for Steven, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A looping hook to the body misses from Fobbs. Steven does a little dance to reset his feet. Steven with the counter takedown but Fobbs avoids it easily. Steven drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Steven walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Steven is rocked! Steven takes a body punch but keeps moving. Steven is still on wobbly legs! Can Fobbs finish him? Steven gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Fobbs gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Steven is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yueris Fobbs! Yueris Fobbs decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
