PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Snarf Snarf (ranked 3309 p4p, 4518 weight class) and King Fraul (ranked 0 p4p, 546 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Snarf might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thunder Cats Snarf. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Snarf Snarf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, King Fraul!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Ren Mimura and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snarf blocks a head kick by Fraul.
Snarf avoids the head kick by Fraul.
An attempted straight right counter from Snarf misses the target.
Fraul misses with a head kick.
Snarf listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Snarf connects with a crisp jab.

It looks like King Fraul has been cut.
Snarf definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Snarf closes the distance and pushes Fraul back into the cage.
Snarf managing to block the knees to the body from Fraul.

Fraul decides to pull guard.

Snarf works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Snarf content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Snarf prevents Fraul from improving his position.
Fraul won't allow Snarf to pass to mount.
Fraul moves into full guard.
Fraul not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Snarf looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Fraul is trying to keep Snarf in close.
Fraul wants to sweep but no luck.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Snarf with a nice cross.

Snarf sends Fraul crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Snarf is motioning to the referee to let Fraul up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Fraul is rocked!
Snarf scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Fraul doesn't seem bothered though.
Fraul is still on wobbly legs! Can Snarf finish him?
Fraul looks winded!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Snarf engages and cracks Fraul with a massive lead left hook - Fraul tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Snarf is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Snarf Snarf!
Post fight, an emotional Snarf Snarf said 'Thunder Cats Roar!!! snarf'.
