Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Karockas Thibodeaux (ranked 1171 p4p, 1792 weight class) and Olu Banjo (ranked 155 p4p, 241 weight class). Olu Banjo will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Karockas Thibodeaux! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Olu Banjo! The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Both fighters circling a little - Banjo finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Thibodeaux drives through and clinches with Banjo against the cage.
Banjo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Thibodeaux is keeping busy. Thibodeaux using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Banjo has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Banjo looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Thibodeaux tries to land a knee to the head but Banjo blocks with his arms.
Banjo is trying to stall.
Banjo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A battle for position here, against the cage. Thibodeaux digs a right hand underneath Banjo's ribcage. Banjo let out a lung full of air as it connected. Thibodeaux tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Banjo avoids it. A short uppercut from Thibodeaux. Banjo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Thibodeaux is keeping busy. Thibodeaux is leaning against Banjo and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Thibodeaux cracks Banjo with a nice body shot. Thibodeaux definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Thibodeaux lands with a right to the head. Thibodeaux misses with a knee strike.

A quick uppercut on the inside from Thibodeaux. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Thibodeaux lands a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thibodeaux lands a good knee to the midsection. Banjo won't want to take too many of those. Banjo looks winded! A nice right hand lands inside from Thibodeaux.
Banjo is rocked! Thibodeaux lands a hook that snaps the head of Banjo backwards. Banjo is still on wobbly legs! Can Thibodeaux finish him? A short right hand to the side of the head by Thibodeaux. Thibodeaux creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Banjo with a big uppercut! Banjo tries to clinch up but Thibodeaux pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Banjo to the mat! Banjo covers up and Thibodeaux unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Karockas Thibodeaux! Karockas Thibodeaux retains his light heavyweight title! A relieved looking Karockas Thibodeaux thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
