PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Miggleton (ranked 3210 p4p, 2150 weight class) and Darby Allin (ranked 411 p4p, 288 weight class). Miggleton's entrance music is No Lives Matter (Tom MacDonald). A fine choice. Allin has chosen Skate or die by PENNYWISE as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allin swings for the body but Miggleton moves out of range.

Miggleton rushes Allin and presses him up against the cage.
Miggleton blocks an uppercut.
Allin takes an elbow to the forehead.

It looks like Darby Allin has been cut.
Allin is trying to push Miggleton away but Miggleton has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
A frustrated look appears on Allin's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Allin is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Miggleton comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

That has opened up Darby Allin's cut even more.
Miggleton creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Allin's defenses.
Miggleton lands an elbow inside that Allin shrugs off.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miggleton connects with a nasty looking knee right to Allin's face.

The cut above Darby Allin's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Darby Allin's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Darby Allin's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
