The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcdonald takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Wealihi feints and as Mcdonald raises his hands in defense, Wealihi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Mcdonald has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Wealihi is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Wealihi manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Wealihi has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Mcdonald throws a big right hand that misses.

Wealihi wants to sweep but no luck.
Wealihi has Mcdonald pulled in close to control his posture.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Wealihi closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Mcdonald has one foot on Wealihi's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Mcdonald looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Wealihi rushes Mcdonald and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Mcdonald is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Wealihi piles on the pressure and Mcdonald crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
