Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Gorichov (ranked 4317 p4p, 4578 weight class) and Derek Trucks (ranked 543 p4p, 566 weight class). Trucks has chosen Lost without you as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ivan Gorichov looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 22 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Derek Trucks!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trucks dives in and scores a takedown into Gorichov's guard.
Gorichov is looking to stand back up but Trucks counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Gorichov.
Gorichov tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Trucks manages to move to mount!
Gorichov defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Trucks.
Trucks moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gorichov has worked his arm free - good work by Gorichov!
Trucks is trying to get an arm triangle but Gorichov is defending well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gorichov being controlled for a moment.
Let's hope that Trucks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Trucks scores with a couple of short elbows.
Trucks wants to control but Gorichov is keeping him busy.
Trucks throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Gorichov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Trucks on the ground.
Trucks tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Trucks working the head and body with strikes.
Trucks throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Trucks wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gorichov keeps working.
Trucks scores with punches from side control.
Gorichov is rocked!
Gorichov gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Trucks wants to finish this one by submission but Gorichov is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Trucks.
Gorichov is trying to get to the ropes to help him get back to his feet.
Trucks controlling the position easily from mount.
Trucks has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gorichov tries to buck Trucks off but Trucks takes his back!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gorichov is trying to remain composed but Trucks is hammering down strikes to the side of his head.
Oh Gorichov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
It looks like Ivan Gorichov has been cut.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Trucks is working for a rear naked choke. Gorichov is not defending it well and Trucks has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Gorichov refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Gorichov's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Derek Trucks!
