The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nysus shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Nysus lands with a shot to the body.
Smith lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nysus throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smith shoots in and bounces Nysus off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Nysus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Smith trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Smith might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Nysus trying to keep a closed guard but Smith is proving a slippery customer.
Smith gets to his feet - Nysus follows without any prompting.
Smith tries to clinch up but Nysus circles away and keeps his distance.

Smith fails to land the takedown.
Nysus throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cardano Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Nysus lands a two punch combo.
Smith shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Nysus defends it nicely.
Smith lands with a right that hurts Nysus. Nysus looks to clinch but Smith throws a short knee that drops Nysus. This one is all over!

Cardano Smith decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
