Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cristian Turbo (ranked 4921 p4p, 5532 weight class) and Paddy Smacks (ranked 597 p4p, 632 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cristian Turbo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Paddy Smacks!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smacks misses with a series of wild punches.
Turbo avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turbo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Smacks swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Smacks takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Turbo seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Smacks throws a combination. Turbo tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Smacks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Turbo was well out of range. Poor timing from Smacks.
Turbo is looking to counter punch.
Turbo connects with a looping right hand.
Turbo connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Turbo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A jab lands there for Turbo.
Smacks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Turbo's guard.
Turbo utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Smacks postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Smacks makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Smacks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Let's hope that Smacks has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Turbo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Turbo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Smacks stands up and waves to Turbo to follow him.

and Turbo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Turbo lands with a cross.
Turbo is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

and Turbo makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
The fighters circle momentarily. Turbo darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Smacks feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Paddy Smacks decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
