The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blancho shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Aboulafia makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Blancho keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Aboulafia dives in and grabs Blancho's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blancho pushes down on Aboulafia's head and hops out.

and Blancho counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Igor Blancho has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Aboulafia.
