Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Creme Brulee (ranked 4282 p4p, 24597 weight class) and Don Sobolinski (ranked 551 p4p, 773 weight class). Sobolinski has chosen Rammstein - Amerika as his entrance music. Creme Brulee could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Don Sobolinski's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Creme Brulee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Don Sobolinski! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Sobolinski there.
It looks like Creme Brulee has been cut. Sobolinski looks to score with a jab to the body but Brulee is just out of range. Sobolinski pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Sobolinski throws a big shot that misses. Sobolinski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A looping hook to the body misses from Sobolinski. Brulee does a little dance to reset his feet. Sobolinski throws a combination that misses and Brulee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Sobolinski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sobolinski takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The fighters circle momentarily. Brulee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Sobolinski throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brulee cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Nice uppercut lands for Brulee. That snapped Sobolinski's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action! Brulee lands with a good body shot. Brulee looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Brulee uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sobolinski. Sobolinski is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sobolinski rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brulee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Brulee connects with a nice looking jab.
Sobolinski throws a combination that misses and Brulee counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sobolinski throws a series of punches but Brulee moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brulee cracks Sobolinski with a good jab. Sobolinski takes a shot right to the bread basket. Jab, jab by Brulee - just one landing. Brulee has closed the distance and engaged Sobolinski in a clinch.
Brulee pulls guard. Sobolinski stopping the sweep attempt from Brulee. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brulee manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sobolinski manages to get himself to full guard.
Brulee pushing down on Sobolinski's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Brulee in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Sobolinski tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Brulee!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Creme Brulee! Don Sobolinski was interviewed post fight and said 'Live to train another day!'.
