Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Delved Magmahow (ranked 4729 p4p, 4731 weight class) and Filipe Marcal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magmahow dives in for a single leg takedown but Marcal sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Magmahow is trying to push Marcal away but Marcal has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Marcal has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Magmahow uses from the top position.

Marcal really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Magmahow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marcal is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Magmahow is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Magmahow shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Marcal as he avoids it easily.

Marcal feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Magmahow feints a jab promting Marcal to slip. Magmahow then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Marcal slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Magmahow shoots in for a takedown but Marcal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Magmahow shoots in and bounces Marcal off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Marcal has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Magmahow is on him like a limpet, forcing Marcal back against the cage.

Marcal breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Marcal blocks a head kick by Magmahow.

Marcal is breathing heavily.

and Marcal counters with a left and a right that stings Magmahow.

Magmahow throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Magmahow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Marcal tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Magmahow is in Marcal's guard.

Marcal has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Magmahow off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Marcal is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Magmahow has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Marcal is looking to defend but Magmahow has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Marcal! Magmahow pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Marcal taps out and this one is all over!
