Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Elmo Whibley (ranked 3673 p4p, 3924 weight class) and Albert Abdullayev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Abdullayev's choice of entrance music: 50 Cent - In Da Club (Caucasian Remix). The key to victory for Elmo Whibley has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whibley's corner calls for a 1-2. Whibley obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Abdullayev tries to close the distance and clinch up but Whibley swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Abdullayev takes one to the chin there.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Abdullayev tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Abdullayev has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Abdullayev has hold of Whibley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Whibley seems comfortable defending it but Abdullayev has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Whibley is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Whibley is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Abdullayev couldn't care less - he's delighted!

In his post fight interview, Albert Abdullayev started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
