Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Joko Hopkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Yildil Od Harad!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Od Harad with a poor takedown
and Hopkins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Od Harad shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Hopkins as he jumps to the side.
A lazy left from Hopkins finds it's target.
Od Harad looks to throw the jab but Hopkins is out of range.
Od Harad closes the distance and pushes Hopkins back into the cage.
Hopkins misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hopkins misses with some punches.
Hopkins makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Hopkins will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Od Harad up against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Od Harad swings away with an uppercut that misses.
A body shot lands from Hopkins.
Hopkins trying to control the position but instead, Od Harad has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hopkins into the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Hopkins fails to land.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hopkins doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Od Harad jumps guard but Hopkins stands there with Od Harad around his waist. Od Harad gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Joko Hopkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yildil Od Harad.
Od Harad misses with the head strike.
Hopkins misses with a body punch.
Od Harad decides to pull guard.
Hopkins wants to control from the top but Od Harad keeps moving.
Od Harad pushes a forearm under Hopkins's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Hopkins is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
