Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taka Gominori (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gominori comes to the ring accompanied by In Flames - Take This Life. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crane has control of Gominori's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Gominori regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Crane has hold of Gominori's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Gominori manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Gominori swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Gominori throws a low kick, looking for Crane's leg but Crane calmly moves out of range.
Crane misses with a takedown attempt - Gominori sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Gominori is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Crane is just riding it out for now. Gominori eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Crane seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gominori does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
