The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Papapetrou lands a lovely overhand right.
Jake tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Papapetrou was well out of range. Poor timing from Jake.
Papapetrou fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jake tries a head kick but it misses.
Papapetrou swats away the attempt to clinch by Jake.
Papapetrou throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jake tries to counter with a clinch but Papapetrou shakes him off and moves away.

Jake shoots in and bounces Papapetrou off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jake is pushing down on Papapetrou's leg trying to pass to half guard. Papapetrou is fighting to maintain full guard but Jake has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jake decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
Jake throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Victoras Papapetrou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Papapetrou scores with a body shot.
Papapetrou lands a nice looking body kick.
A punch combination from Papapetrou misses.
Papapetrou scores with a slapping inside leg kick.

Jake closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Papapetrou quickly recovers to half guard.

Jake is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Papapetrou!
