Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hessing on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Azerbaijan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A nice leg kick lands there from Azerbaijan.
Azerbaijan misses with a body shot.
Azerbaijan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Azerbaijan.
Hessing fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Azerbaijan bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Hessing fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Azerbaijan, pushing him back against the cage.
Hessing blocks the elbow strike.

Hessing manages to break the clinch.
Azerbaijan throws a lazy head kick
and Hessing counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hessing slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Hessing gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Hessing shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Azerbaijan tries to kick Hessing off in order to stand up. Hessing Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Azerbaijan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hessing wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
