Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buakaw Payakaroon (ranked 3551 p4p, 3882 weight class) and Steve Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buakaw Payakaroon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Steve Wilson!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson digs a good hook to Payakaroon's body.
Wilson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wilson swats away the attempt to clinch by Payakaroon.
Payakaroon slips a jab from Wilson.
Payakaroon wants to clinch but Wilson slips to the side
and Wilson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Wilson circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Wilson to counter with a crisp jab.
Wilson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Wilson jabs at Payakaroon's body.
Payakaroon tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Wilson counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Wilson is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Payakaroon.
Payakaroon swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Wilson drops Payakaroon with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Payakaroon looks back up at him and smiles so Wilson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Payakaroon is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Wilson cracks Payakaroon on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Payakaroon falls backwards against the cage. Wilson follows up with more strikes that drop Payakaroon to his knees. Wilson keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Payakaroon! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Steve Wilson!
