The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Down jabs at Zula's body.
Down lands with an overhand left.
Zula fails with the takedown
and Down counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Zula tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Down swivels and escapes.
Down definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Down works the jab nicely.

It looks like Oumarou Zula has been cut.
Larry Down has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oumarou Zula.
Zula takes one to the side of the head.
Zula shoots in looking for a takedown but Down manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zula's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Down moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Zula! Down continues to tee off on Zula, landing with a left and a right! Down connects with a right hand that leaves Zula sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Down!
