Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Ronalds (ranked 4678 p4p, 19179 weight class) and Krzysztof Zakrzewski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Krzysztof Zakrzewski has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Ronalds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 26 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Krzysztof Zakrzewski! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ronalds shoots in and gets a takedown into Zakrzewski's guard. Zakrzewski looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Zakrzewski throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Zakrzewski is working an open guard so Ronalds takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Horrible takedown attempt by Ronalds or perhaps it was just good defense by Zakrzewski, which made it look bad. Ronalds scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Ronalds performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ronalds seems to be working for a kimura but Zakrzewski defends the submission attempt. Ronalds trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ronalds is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Zakrzewski doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ronalds. Ronalds stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ronalds not landing any meaningful shots this time. Zakrzewski wants to control but Ronalds is keeping busy.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Zakrzewski has his takedown stuffed and Ronalds counters with a takedown into side control. Zakrzewski throws Ronalds to one side and escapes! Zakrzewski gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ronalds throwing strikes from guard but Zakrzewski blocks nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ronalds throws a big elbow that misses. Ronalds is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ronalds missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Ronalds has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Ronalds is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Ronalds stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Zakrzewski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ronalds manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Zakrzewski on his heels. He'll look to pass Zakrzewski's guard now, I'm sure. Zakrzewski wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Ronalds manages to pass to side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ronalds decides to stand up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ronalds scores with a jab to the head.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
David Ronalds dominated that round. That's time! Ronalds's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Zakrzewski stuffs the takedown attempt from Ronalds. Ronalds gets slowly back to his feet.
It looks like Krzysztof Zakrzewski has been cut. Ronalds takes the fight into the clinch. Ronalds is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Zakrzewski can do to turn this around? Ronalds manages to break the clinch.
Ronalds decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. David Ronalds overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ronalds slows the pace down in half guard. Ronalds looks to land a strike but Zakrzewski avoids it nicely and regains full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ronalds content to stall in guard here. Zakrzewski is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ronalds forces his way into half guard. Ronalds is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ronalds decides to stand up. Zakrzewski tries for a takedown but Ronalds circles away easily and Ronalds counters with a head kick that drops Zakrzewski to the mat! Zakrzewski scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Zakrzewski is rocked! Ronalds shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Zakrzewski is on queer street and Ronalds is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). David Ronalds!
