Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau (ranked 765 p4p, 1159 weight class) and Ramone Rocksaw (ranked 124 p4p, 178 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramone Rocksaw!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Costeau throws a series of punches but Rocksaw avoids them all with ease.
Rocksaw throws out a counter right but Costeau avoids it with no problem.
Costeau blocks a low kick nicely.
Costeau looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
A lazy body kick from Costeau
and Rocksaw counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A nice leg kick from Costeau, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rocksaw swings for the body but Costeau moves out of range.
Costeau tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rocksaw was well out of range. Poor timing from Costeau.
Costeau ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rocksaw moves away.
Rocksaw moves out of range of the strikes.
Costeau walks into a jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Costeau throws out a powerful jab.
A slow jab from Costeau misses its intended target.
Costeau misses with a body punch
and Rocksaw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Costeau darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Costeau throws out a loose jab but Rocksaw uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rocksaw dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Costeau connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Costeau lands a head shot.
Costeau misses with a wild combination.
Rocksaw misses with a body shot.

Rocksaw cracks Costeau with a big right hand and Costeau goes down!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rocksaw is fighting to break Costeau's control of his arms but Costeau is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Rocksaw wants to control from the top but Costeau keeps moving.
Costeau has momentary wrist control but Rocksaw slips an elbow through the middle.

Costeau has Rocksaw pulled in close to control his posture.
Rocksaw is looking to work some ground and pound but Costeau has wrist control.
Rocksaw with a nice head shot there.
Rocksaw trying to control but Costeau is working from the bottom.
Rocksaw is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Costeau throws a poor cross that misses
and Rocksaw cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Costeau feints and then cracks Rocksaw's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rocksaw down.

Rocksaw avoids the body shot from Costeau.
Rocksaw now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Costeau turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

and Rocksaw lands a stunning uppercut that sends Costeau to the mat!

Costeau is rocked!

It looks like Raphaël Ambrosius Costeau has been cut.
Rocksaw lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Costeau quite badly. Costeau pulls Rocksaw in close trying to recover. Rocksaw postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Costeau on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Costeau doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
