Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weah cracks George with an open hand slap.

George looks to land a left hand but Weah moved out of range nicely.
Tim Weah seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weah is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by George .
Weah misses with a lunging right hand
and George counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Weah misses with a hook. George ducked under it nicely.
George uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Weah.
George misses with a shot to the body

and Weah counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Weah.
George looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Weah manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Weah seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

and George counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Weah thinking.

A punch lands to the side of George 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Weah's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

George is really struggling to control Weah but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Weah takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
