Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jeno Christ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Conny Ponny! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Christ ducks under a wild hook from Ponny. Ponny misses with a series of wild punches.
Christ ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Christ throwing a counter right hand but Ponny manages to avoid it. Ponny blocks a jab. Ponny tries to counter with a clinch but Christ shakes him off and moves away. Ponny fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Christ manages to avoid it. Christ loads up on a big right hand but Ponny slips the punch. Ponny let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Christ pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ponny looks to score with a jab to the body but Christ is just out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Christ thuds his right hand into Ponny's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Ponny throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Christ looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Ponny misses with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ponny motions for Christ to come forward. Ponny throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Ponny bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Christ throws a looping overhand right but Ponny ducks down to avoid it. Ponny moves out of range as Christ strikes. Ponny doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Ponny throws a looping overhand right but Christ ducks down to avoid it. An inside leg kick lands from Ponny. Christ throws a lazy uppercut
and Ponny counters with a left to the body. Ponny swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Christ counters with a crisp one two that drops Ponny! Christ thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ponny to his feet! Ponny is in big trouble!
Ponny is rocked! Ponny swings away with a body shot that misses
and Christ counters with a nice right hand that sends Ponny toppling to the canvas! Ponny scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Christ finish him?! Ponny is still on wobbly legs! Can Christ finish him? The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Ponny throws a poor cross that misses
and Christ counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
