Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rick Ross (ranked 2630 p4p, 3117 weight class) and Bob Crawley (ranked 344 p4p, 404 weight class). Crawley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Barbarian Overlords - The Ambassador kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bob Crawley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rick Ross! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bob Crawley! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crawley slips a jab and a cross from Ross.
Ross doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crawley counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ross fails with the takedown and Crawley counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ross thinking. Ross swings and misses with a shot to the body and Crawley counters with a right hand to the body. A jab from Crawley does it's job there. Crawley looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. A leg kick checked by Crawley. A little jabbing left from Crawley on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Ross looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ross with a poor takedown enabling Crawley to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Ross. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crawley scores with a hook to the body. Ross takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Ross throws a left and a right that both miss
and Crawley counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ross is breathing heavily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Crawley blocks a low kick nicely. A nice side step and Crawley releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ross throws a lazy body kick and Crawley counters with a nice right hand that sends Ross toppling to the canvas! Ross scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Crawley finish him?!
Ross is rocked! Crawley connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Ross out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bob Crawley! Our winner, Bob Crawley, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
