The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Try scores with a shot to the body.
Papapetrou has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Papapetrou gets tackled into the cage by Try. Try maintains the clinch.

Try looks to land a combination but Papapetrou avoids it well.
A solid leg kick lands there for Papapetrou.

Try takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Papapetrou uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Papapetrou shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Another Try seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Try throws a series of strikes that have Papapetrou backpedaling.

Try uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Papapetrou.
Try rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Papapetrou moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Papapetrou throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Papapetrou lands a lovely overhand right.
Papapetrou explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Papapetrou slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Try breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Try takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Papapetrou takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Papapetrou scores with the left hand. Try knows he should have avoided that one.

Try darts in and clinches Papapetrou up against the cage.

Try tries to close the distance and clinch but Papapetrou swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Papapetrou throws a fast counter high kick but Try manages to duck under it in time.

Papapetrou tries to close the distance and clinch up but Try swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Try lands with a kick to the temple. Papapetrou shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Papapetrou has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Papapetrou moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Try misses with a double jab.
Papapetrou throws out a counter right but Try avoids it with no problem.
Try takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Papapetrou lands a brutal head kick. Try looks out on his feet and Papapetrou throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
