Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shingen Takeda (ranked 1673 p4p, 2282 weight class) and Davante Dunbar (ranked 220 p4p, 282 weight class). Dunbar has chosen Ghost - Cirice as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davante Dunbar!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Russell Pearce and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunbar connects with a body shot that sends Takeda's belly button to the back.
Shingen Takeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takeda misses with a head kick.
Dunbar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Takeda on the side of the head.
It looks like Shingen Takeda has been cut.
Dunbar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Dunbar takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Takeda walks into a straight right hand from Dunbar.
Dunbar thows a left - swing and a miss!
Takeda gets the takedown into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Takeda wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dunbar, who protects the arm well.

Takeda goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dunbar has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Takeda but great work by Dunbar.
Dunbar in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Takeda is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Davante Dunbar!
