Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Happy Chukwudu (ranked 2919 p4p, 3452 weight class) and Chie Satonaka (ranked 371 p4p, 434 weight class). Chukwudu's entrance music is Rooster. A fine choice. Satonaka has chosen Rayden as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chie Satonaka!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Dean Styles.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Satonaka misses the target.
Chukwudu was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Chukwudu connects with the punch.
Chukwudu tries to clinch but Satonaka is having none of it.
The crowd cheers as Satonaka lands an impressive looking overhand right. Chukwudu doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Chie Satonaka has been cut.
Satonaka comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Satonaka is still on wobbly legs! Can Chukwudu finish him?
Satonaka throws a series of punches but Chukwudu moves out of range.
Chukwudu throws a jab but it's blocked by Satonaka.
Satonaka seems to have recovered his senses.

Satonaka stuns Chukwudu with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chukwudu will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Chukwudu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Chukwudu takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Chukwudu is working for a kimura but Satonaka is defending it quite comfortably.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Chukwudu uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Satonaka.
Satonaka misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Satonaka misses with a looping right.

Chukwudu has taken the fight to the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Chukwudu creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Chukwudu stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Chukwudu wants to take the fight to the mat but Satonaka manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

It looked like Chukwudu wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Satonaka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chukwudu momentarily.
Satonaka misses with a series of wild punches.
Chie Satonaka is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chukwudu doesn't manage to clinch there - Satonaka circles away.

Chukwudu throws an overhand right that drops Satonaka like a sack of potatoes! Chukwudu dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
