Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lyle Gill (ranked 6637 p4p, 5762 weight class) and Mark Borrego (ranked 213 p4p, 192 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lyle Gill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Mark Borrego!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gill tries for a takedown but Borrego circles away easily
and Borrego counters with a two punch combo.
Gill really is a fat lump.
Borrego displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gill.
Borrego with a hook.
It looks like Lyle Gill has been cut.
Gill looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Borrego!
Borrego pushes Gill away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gill gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Borrego is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Gill is trying to get an arm triangle but Borrego is defending well.
Borrego looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Borrego tries to escape but Gill is in control.
Gill wants to control but Borrego is keeping him busy.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Borrego wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Borrego sneaks out the side door and pushes Gill away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Gill shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Borrego pinned against the cage. Borrego gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lyle Gill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Borrego cracks Gill with a right hand to the side of the head.
Mark Borrego is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Borrego stuns Gill with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gill is breathing heavily.
Borrego lands a big right hand that sends Gill crashing to the mat! Borrego stays standing though and waves Gill back to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Borrego knocks out Gill with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Borrego before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Borrego picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mark Borrego!
