The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cain tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but StPierreDiaz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
StPierreDiaz closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cain to the mat! Cain manages to get full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
StPierreDiaz pushes down on Cain's leg and manages to get into half guard.
StPierreDiaz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Cain is defending against the submission attempts here by StPierreDiaz.
Cain wants to control but StPierreDiaz is keeping busy.
StPierreDiaz is working for a kimura but Cain is defending it quite comfortably.
