Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Matt Wills!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, James Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wills uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Taylor.
Taylor has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Taylor throws a shot from downtown. Wills moves away and avoids it.
Wills shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
A telegraphed right hand from Taylor misses the target.
Wills attempts a counter takedown but Taylor avoids it well and moves away.
Taylor misses with a looping right.
Taylor throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Wills appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Wills misses with a straight left.
Taylor pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Taylor misses with a body shot.

Wills closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth.
Taylor is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Wills scores with a couple of nice shots.
Wills is pressing down on Taylor's thigh, looking to free his foot. Taylor is holding on for now.
Taylor has hold of Wills's hands but Wills slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wills. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wills is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Taylor tries to roll over but Wills keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wills looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Taylor is rocked!

Wills maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Taylor could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Wills has cracked it and Taylor is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Wills!
