Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Uska (ranked 3134 p4p, 3893 weight class) and Clayton Christenssen (ranked 424 p4p, 500 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Clayton Christenssen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Christenssen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Christenssen misses with the combination.
Uska misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Christenssen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Uska seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Uska drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Christenssen avoids the head kick by Uska.
Uska misses with a combination
and Christenssen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Uska fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Christenssen checks it well.
Christenssen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Uska bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uska shoots in and bounces Christenssen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Christenssen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Uska. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Uska slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Uska is pushing down on Christenssen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Christenssen is fighting to maintain full guard but Uska has managed to sneak the leg through.

Uska in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Christenssen tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Uska!
