Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Noriega (ranked 1389 p4p, 1213 weight class) and Edgy Brah (ranked 162 p4p, 141 weight class). Noriega comes to the cage accompanied by MS-13 Mara Salvatrucha. Brah has chosen Dropped by Smoke Serpent as his entrance music. Pablo Noriega had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 28 - 17 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pablo Noriega! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 23 - 20 - 1, fighting out of London, Edgy Brah! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brah takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Noriega swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Noriega misses with a straight left. Brah looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Noriega looks to land a right hand but Brah moved out of range. Noriega uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brah.
Noriega scores with a hook. Brah ducks down and throws a hook to the body. A low kick from Noriega misses and Brah counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Noriega tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Noriega connects with a nice looking jab.
Brah slips a straight right by Noriega. Noriega tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Brah is able to avoid easily. Brah throws a hook but Noriega avoids it easily. Brah shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brah thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brah controlling the action here. Brah has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Brah has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Noriega tries to get back to half guard but can't. Brah is looking to work his way around to Noriega's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Brah takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brah seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Noriega is holding on tight.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brah throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Brah controlling the position easily from mount. Brah with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Noriega wants to control but Brah is having none of it. Brah sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Brah fails to move to back control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brah controlling from the full mount. Noriega tries to lock up and control but Brah gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Brah content just to control the position here. Brah trying to control but he's not successful this time. Brah tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Noriega wants to hold on but Brah pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Brah can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Noriega is looking to escape. Brah moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Noriega has worked his arm free - good work by Noriega!
Brah sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Noriega is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Brah wants to control but Noriega is keeping him busy. Noriega is being controlled here. The referee is pacing around the two fighters, thinking about a standup. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. It looks like Brah might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Edgy Brah dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Brah does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Noriega was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Pablo Noriega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Noriega lands a glancing blow to the side of Brah's head. That kick from Noriega tenderised Brah's leg. Brah is trying to keep his angry face on. Brah takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Brah slips under a jab. Brah bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Noriega really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Brah trying to control the action but Noriega is working from the bottom. Brah taking a breather here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Let's hope that Brah has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Brah tries for a kimura but Noriega is defending well. Brah working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brah taking a breather here. Brah trying to control the action but Noriega is working from the bottom. Noriega on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Brah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Noriega keeps working. You can see the frustration on Noriega's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Noriega throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pablo Noriega is winning the standup battle so far. A slapping leg kick lands for Noriega.
Noriega jabbing away but nothing is landing. Noriega misses with a body kick. Noriega is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brah. Noriega throws a quick inside leg kick. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brah fails with the takedown. Noriega misses with a straight right. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pablo Noriega dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Brah tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Noriega manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brah avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Brah takes a swing at Noriega's ribcage but misses. Brah slips a straight right by Noriega. Noriega looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Noriega throws an off balance right hand
enabling Brah to counter with a crisp jab. Noriega uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Brah. Noriega misses with a two punch combination.
Brah dives in for a single leg takedown but Noriega sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A kick lands to the mid section there for Noriega. Brah moves in looking to clinch but Noriega pushes him off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Noriega lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Brah at a distance.
Brah tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Brah takes a swing at Noriega's ribcage but misses. Noriega is looking to counter punch. Noriega fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round. Noriega keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Brah moves out of range of the body kick. Noriega throws a hook to the side of Brah's head but Brah sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Brah shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Noriega napping and manages to drive through into side control! Brah laying and praying for a moment but Noriega takes advantage and regains half guard. Brah tries to pass to full mount but Noriega defends it. Brah wants to lay and pray for a moment but Noriega keeps working. Brah prevents Noriega from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brah perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Brah looks to land a strike but Noriega avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Brah stands and throws Noriega's legs to the side, diving into side control. Brah taking a breather here. Brah trying to control the position but Noriega is working away. Noriega tries to improve position but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brah looking to control but instead Noriega has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Noriega has one foot on Brah's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Brah shoots in for a double leg but Noriega sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Brah will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Brah drops his hands momentarily and Noriega takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A low kick from Noriega misses and Brah counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Noriega! Noriega sneaks out the side door and pushes Brah away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Noriega scores with a punch to the head.

Noriega moves into range and connects with a jab. Brah misses with a hook. Noriega ducked under it nicely. Noriega keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A low kick from Noriega is predictable there and Brah counters with a takedown into side control. Noriega taking punishment in the form of punches.
Brah is looking to take a break and control but Noriega is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Brah might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Noriega haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
And that's the end of the fight! Pablo Noriega showed his dominance in that final round. I think Noriega has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
