Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Danny Trejo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jay Porter!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porter doesn't manage to clinch there - Trejo circles away.
Trejo takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Porter throws out a loose jab but Trejo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nice uppercut lands for Porter. That snapped Trejo's head back.
Porter misses with an uppercut.
Trejo bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Trejo shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Trejo works the jab nicely.
Trejo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Some wild striking there from Porter.
A nice leg kick from Trejo, right into the meat of the thigh.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Porter takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Porter waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Trejo. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Trejo to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Trejo is rocked!
Porter is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Oh Trejo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Trejo is working an open guard so Porter takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Porter throws a series of punches but Trejo moves out of range.
Porter is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Trejo flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Trejo is out cold! Porter holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jay Porter!
