With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hamadi Hajjar!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hajjar waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Barnes.
Barnes seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Barnes ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
It looked like Barnes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hajjar.
Barnes paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hajjar bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Barnes's head.
Hajjar slips a straight right by Barnes.
Barnes jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hajjar misses with a looping left.
It looked like Barnes was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hajjar.
Hajjar lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Hajjar lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hajjar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barnes.
Hajjar throws a body shot but no joy.
Barnes swings for the body but Hajjar moves out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hajjar! But no joy.
Hajjar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barnes was well out of range. Poor timing from Hajjar.

Barnes scores with a hook to the body. Hajjar takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hajjar tries to move into range but Barnes moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Hajjar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barnes moves away.
Hajjar jabbing away but nothing is landing.

and Barnes counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Hajjar looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hajjar on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hajjar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Barnes.
Barnes scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Barnes drops Hajjar with a straight right hand, right on the button! Barnes follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
