Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petr Romanov (ranked 4544 p4p, 3228 weight class) and Space Aids (ranked 563 p4p, 0 weight class). Aids has chosen Bitchin Camaro as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Space Aids!
The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Dmitry Maklakov and Igor Prikhodko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aids is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.

It looks like Petr Romanov has been cut.
Romanov darts in looking for a takedown but Aids gets double underhooks and turns Romanov into the cage.
Aids looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Aids's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Space Aids seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Romanov fails with a takedown attempt.
Aids scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Aids bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Romanov's head backwards.
Aids dips to his left and cracks Romanov with an uppercut!
Romanov shoots for a takedown but Aids saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petr Romanov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Aids comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Aids throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Romanov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Aids changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Aids cracks Romanov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Romanov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Aids finish him?

Romanov is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Aids circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Romanov tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Aids wins by KO!
