Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xxx Xxx (ranked 6777 p4p, 24643 weight class) and Xxx Xxx (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Xxx Xxx! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Fighter B gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter A trying to control from the bottom.
Fighter A is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Fighter B seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A is controlling Fighter B's position as best he can from this difficult position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B prevents Fighter A from standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fighter B keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Fighter B thows a huge punch but Fighter A dodges it nicely.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter B slaps away a takedown attempt from Fighter A, before circling back to the center of the mat. Fighter A doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fighter B counters with a solid body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fighter A dives in and grabs Fighter B's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fighter B pushes down on Fighter A's head and hops out. And Fighter B responds with a good body kick, but Fighter A manages to step out the way in time. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Fighter B. Fighter A seems a little lost for a moment, as Fighter B dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Fighter B is controlling him well. Fighter B in side control, throwing shots but Fighter A defends. Fighter A tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fighter B wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Fighter A is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Fighter A darts in looking for a takedown but Fighter B gets double underhooks and turns Fighter A into the cage. Fighter A is pressed up against the cage. Fighter B has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fighter A down to the mat. Fighter A avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fighter A tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fighter B defends well and Fighter A ends up having to push Fighter B into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Fighter B has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fighter A is trying to keep an underhook but Fighter B manages to get the takedown into half guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter B perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Xxx Xxx dominated that round. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Fighter B circles away from the clinch attempt.
Fighter B throws a fast counter high kick but Fighter A manages to duck under it in time. Fighter A has his takedown stuffed and Fighter B makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Fighter A closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Fighter B quickly recovers to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter A perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Fighter A seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fighter B is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Fighter A wants to get back to his feet.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fighter B stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Fighter B wants it to stay on the feet. Fighter B appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Fighter B gets a takedown into half guard. Fighter B has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Fighter B with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Xxx Xxx has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fighter A is trying to stand back up but Fighter B is controlling him

Fighter B content to control rather than advance. Let's hope that Fighter B has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. No luck with that takedown attempt from Fighter A. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Xxx Xxx will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Fighter A's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round! Fighter A closes this distance looking for a takedown but Fighter B circles away. Fighter A tries for a takedown but Fighter B sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Fighter B thinks about the counter body kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fighter A is defended easily by Fighter B. Fighter B replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Fighter A blocks it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xxx Xxx. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fighter B closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Fighter A to the mat! Fighter A manages to get full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fighter B shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fighter A as he avoids it easily. And Fighter A counters with a quick kick to the body but Fighter B blocks it. Fighter A fails with a takedown attempt. Fighter B counters with a body kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fighter A shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Fighter B defends it nicely. Xxx Xxx has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Xxx Xxx is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fighter A fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Xxx Xxx comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Fighter B winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
