Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jerry Jordan (ranked 4714 p4p, 4553 weight class) and Bugra Alparslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jerry Jordan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bugra Alparslan! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jordan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Alparslan throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jordan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jordan darts in looking for a takedown but Alparslan gets double underhooks and turns Jordan into the cage. Alparslan creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Jordan's defenses. Alparslan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jordan has a takedown stuffed. Alparslan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Jordan is trying to stand.
Alparslan slips a nice elbow through Jordan's hands, connecting with Jordan's forehead. Jordan is trying to control but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jordan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Alparslan pulls his head out easily. Jordan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Alparslan is working away from the top position though. Alparslan is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Alparslan trying to control the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jordan is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Jordan works his way to full guard. Good work. Jordan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Alparslan controls the pace. Alparslan slips nicely into half guard. Jordan tries to get to full guard but Alparslan has control of the leg. Jordan is breathing heavily. Jordan trying to control from the bottom.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jordan lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Alparslan circles away quickly and effectively. Alparslan instigates a clinch. Jordan is trying to break free. Alparslan has Jordan pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alparslan pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Jordan tumbling to the mat - Alparslan dives into Jordan's guard. Alparslan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alparslan working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Jordan's head. Alparslan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Alparslan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Jordan is keeping the position for now. Jordan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jordan has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alparslan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Alparslan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jordan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Alparslan is aware though and is defending well. And that is the end of the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alparslan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jordan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Alparslan trying to control the position.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Alparslan has Jordan pulled in close to control his posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Jordan tries to clinch but Alparslan is having none of it. Jordan fails with a takedown attempt. Alparslan forces Jordan back against the cage and clinches. Alparslan is pushing Jordan up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jordan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Alparslan tries for a takedown. No joy.
Jordan is trying to break the clinch but Alparslan is controlling him. Alparslan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Alparslan manages to end up in side control. Jordan is looking for a sweep. Alparslan slows the pace down. Jordan is looking for a sweep. Bugra Alparslan has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Alparslan working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Alparslan is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Alparslan with good strikes from the mount here! Alparslan controlling the pace for now. Jordan tries to hold on but Alparslan postures up. Alparslan prevents Jordan from getting the reversal. Jordan is working hard here to advance position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Alparslan lands a big shot there that rocks Jordan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Alparslan lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Alparslan content just to control the position here. Jordan is trying desperately to improve position. A nice elbow there by Alparslan. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Alparslan controlling his opponent. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bugra Alparslan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Alparslan swinging wildly here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Alparslan lands a decent elbow from side control. Jordan tries to buck Alparslan off but Alparslan is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jordan wants to get back to his feet but Alparslan drags him back down. Alparslan lands some shots froms side control. Alparslan controls the position. Jordan tries to get back to half guard but can't. A lull in the action here as Alparslan stalls from top position. Jordan is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Alparslan's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Alparslan is controlling the pace.
Alparslan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. More stalling from Alparslan.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Bugra Alparslan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Alparslan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
