The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Xiangjie misses with a wild combination.
Xiangjie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Xiangjie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A head kick by Xiangjie misses
and deGrom counters with a one-two to the body.

Xiangjie moves into the clinch.
Xiangjie has deGrom pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. deGrom manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Xiangjie manages to break the clinch.
deGrom throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Xiangjie.
A head kick misses from Xiangjie.

Xiangjie rushes deGrom and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

deGrom wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
deGrom is trying to break the clinch but Xiangjie is controlling him.
deGrom tries to circle away but Xiangjie has him pinned against the cage.

Xiangjie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
deGrom scores with a one two! Xiangjie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Clayton deGrom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Xiangjie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
deGrom looks to land a combination but Xiangjie avoids it well.
deGrom fails to land with a series of punches.
deGrom works over Xiangjie's head and body with a nice combination.

deGrom shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Xiangjie takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - deGrom sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Xiangjie bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
