Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Keller (ranked 4585 p4p, 4655 weight class) and Kip Thorne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kip Thorne!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Santiago Holmes and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorne misses with a takedown
and Keller counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Thorne bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Keller's guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Keller will probably get the nod.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Keller defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Thorne.
Thorne tries to score a power double leg takedown but Keller sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Thorne somewhat.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Thorne shoots in for a takedown but Keller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Keller throws a looping overhand right but Thorne ducks down to avoid it.
