Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeShawn West (ranked 134 p4p, 419 weight class) and Prana Halo (ranked 5 p4p, 12 weight class). West comes to the cage accompanied by Can’t Be Touched - Roy Jones Jr. The key to victory for DeShawn West has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DeShawn West!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Prana Halo!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Halo manages to avoid it.
West keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Nice takedown defense from West. No joy for Halo on that attempt.
West scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've been told by West's head coaches at Xtreme Black House that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

and Halo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Halo wants to control from the top but West keeps moving.
Halo is pushing down on West's leg trying to pass to half guard. West is fighting to maintain full guard but Halo has managed to sneak the leg through.
