Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Barbosa Ii (ranked 2929 p4p, 2609 weight class) and Kambei Shimada (ranked 389 p4p, 346 weight class). Shimada has chosen Seven Samurai as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shimada is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Barbosa Ii.
Barbosa Ii shoots in for a double leg but Shimada sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Barbosa Ii has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Shimada is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Barbosa Ii.

That was a close second round but I would say that Pedro Barbosa Ii will probably get the nod.
