Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucas Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iosif Koba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koba darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Koba content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Junior is looking to escape.
Koba frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Junior tries to hold on but Koba pushes him away.

and Koba counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Koba.

Koba is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Let's hope that Koba has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Koba counters with a single leg into guard. Junior didn't expect that.

Well Koba has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
