Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Samson Komua (ranked 1215 p4p, 2209 weight class) and Bobby Drake (ranked 187 p4p, 315 weight class). Komua comes into the arena with Fangai Lupe blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Drake!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Wagner Zegers and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake missing with a left hand there. Komua was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Drake throws out a loose jab but Komua uses good head movement to avoid it.
A punch combination from Drake misses.
A telegraphed right hand from Komua misses the target.
Drake slips under a jab from Komua.
Komua connects with a body shot that sends Drake's belly button to the back.
Komua waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Drake.
Drake swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Drake takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

It looks like Bobby Drake has been cut.
Drake misses the shot to the body.

Drake has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Komua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Komua with a jab.
Drake looks to throw the jab but Komua is out of range.
A jab from Komua finds it's way through Drake's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Drake changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Komua thows a left - swing and a miss!

Komua lands a big uppercut and Drake crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Drake looks OK. Komua waves Drake back to his feet!

Drake is rocked!
Komua measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Drake! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
