Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Kos (ranked 2047 p4p, 2638 weight class) and Kai Chisaki (ranked 255 p4p, 313 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roman Kos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kai Chisaki! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chisaki fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kos to the ground. Chisaki is now in Kos's guard. Chisaki engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Chisaki lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Chisaki scoring with some ground and pound. Chisaki postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Chisaki's corner is telling him to maintain position. Kos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Chisaki on the ground. Chisaki working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Chisaki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Chisaki wants to control from the top but Kos keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chisaki looking to control the position here, rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chisaki is pushing down on Kos's leg trying to pass to half guard. Kos is fighting to maintain full guard but Chisaki has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chisaki is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kos doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Chisaki. Chisaki is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Chisaki wants to control the pace but Kos is squirming around nicely. Kos defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Chisaki. Chisaki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Chisaki won't let Kos get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Chisaki fails to advance to Kos's back. Chisaki looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chisaki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kos is surviving well by controlling Chisaki's body position as best he can. Kos definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Kos is trying to stand. Chisaki pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kos wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Chisaki trying to control but Kos is having none of it. Chisaki raining down shots from the mount! Chisaki is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Kos is surviving well by controlling Chisaki's body position as best he can. Chisaki is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kos has managed to escape the submission attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chisaki sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Chisaki with good strikes from the mount here! Chisaki scoring with strikes but Kos is staying in there. Chisaki landing strikes, looking to finish! Chisaki working away from the top, dropping strikes. Kos is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Chisaki working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Kos looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Chisaki! Submission of the night perhaps?
