The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDonald lunges at Noeigati with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Noeigati's hand.
A slow jab from McDonald misses its intended target.
As McDonald looks to move away, Noeigati throws a big counter combo but McDonald just gets out of the way.
McDonald scores with a shot to the body.
McDonald slips a straight right by Noeigati.
McDonald cracks Noeigati with a right hand to the side of the head.
McDonald lands with an uppercut that bounces Noeigati off the cage and back into range.
McDonald misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Noeigati.
McDonald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McDonald misses with a telegraphed body shot
and McDonald takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

McDonald sizes up Noeigati with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
McDonald rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Noeigati counters with a nice uppercut.

Noeigati throws out a leg kick but McDonald moves out of range and Noeigati only half commits.
McDonald looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Nice body punch from McDonald.
McDonald misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McDonald throws a lazy uppercut
and Noeigati counters with a nice uppercut.
Noeigati cracks McDonald with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McDonald looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Noeigati finish him?
McDonald is rocked!
Dave McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's one minute gone in the round.
McDonald is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Noeigati doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! McDonald crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in McDonald's bad books for that mishap!

A relieved looking Benjamin Noeigati thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
