Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zico Macedo (ranked 3544 p4p, 3860 weight class) and Med Tech (ranked 453 p4p, 483 weight class). Macedo comes to the cage accompanied by Hino Nacional do Brasil. Zico Macedo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Med Tech's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Med Tech!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tech thumps Macedo with a low kick.
Tech swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Macedo drops down looking for a counter takedown but Tech sprawls and moves away.
Tech tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Macedo tries to counter with a takedown but Tech is quick to defend against it.
Tech lands a head kick. Macedo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A head kick by Tech misses
and Macedo counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Macedo.
Tech wants to get back to his feet but Macedo passes into half guard.
Macedo is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Tech is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Zico Macedo!
