Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinny Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ross Winner!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Andrew Berry and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Winner circles away from the clinch attempt.

Winner moves into the clinch successfully.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Martin.
Martin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Winner just stands there and leans against the cage.
Winner tries to pull guard but Martin holds him up against the cage and eventually Winner drops back down to his feet.
Martin avoids a wild elbow strike from Winner.
Martin tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Winner smiles and moves away.

and Winner counters by moving into the clinch.

Winner jumps guard and drags Martin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Winner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Winner is looking to stand up but Martin isn't so interested in that idea.

Winner has his foot on Martin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Martin works his way back into a safe position though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Martin wants to clinch up but Winner keeps it at a distance.
Ross Winner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Winner tightens his grip and picks Martin up, before dumping him to the ground. Martin manages to land in guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Winner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Winner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Martin's guard.

A close second round but Ross Winner will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Winner is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Martin knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Martin for a finish.

Winner somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Winner is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
