Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kazuhira Miller (ranked 3385 p4p, 25368 weight class) and Jeremias Furtwangler (ranked 435 p4p, 725 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kazuhira Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeremias Furtwangler!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Furtwangler enables Miller to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Furtwangler manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Miller lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Miller postures up in Furtwangler's guard and throws a big left but Furtwangler blocks it.
Furtwangler not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Furtwangler has momentary wrist control but Miller slips an elbow through the middle.
Miller has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Furtwangler preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Miller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Furtwangler's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Furtwangler had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily.
Miller wants to control from the top but Furtwangler keeps moving.

Miller won't allow Furtwangler to get back to his feet.
Furtwangler avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Furtwangler scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Furtwangler throws a right and a left that both miss.
Miller looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Furtwangler scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Miller fails with the takedown.
Miller misses the shot to the body.
As Miller backs off Furtwangler throws a huge counter combo but Miller manages to avoid it all.

Furtwangler lands a left and a right that send Miller crashing to the mat, dazed. Furtwangler thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Miller is rocked!

It looks like Kazuhira Miller has been cut.
Furtwangler feints with a jab and clips Miller right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Miller is sent crashing into the canvas and Furtwangler leaps in for the kill! Miller tries to get to his feet but Furtwangler is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Miller is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeremias Furtwangler!
