Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jo Pierce (ranked 4962 p4p, 4819 weight class) and Dao Bosu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jo Pierce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dao Bosu!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Pierce blocks a head kick by Bosu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bosu looks to land a combination but Pierce avoids it well.
Pierce feinted with a counter takedown.
Pierce could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Bosu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bosu throws a head kick but Pierce moves out of range.
Pierce drops down looking for a counter takedown but Bosu sprawls and moves away.
Pierce shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bosu defends it nicely.
Bosu now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Bosu defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pierce.
Bosu swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bosu. Pierce does a little dance to reset his feet.
Pierce changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Pierce shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Pierce was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bosu manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Pierce is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Pierce is looking to take a break and control but Bosu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bosu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bosu wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Pierce is working for a submission of some sort.
Bosu is defending against the submission attempts here by Pierce.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bosu tries to roll over but Pierce keeps him under control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Dao Bosu dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bosu throws a head kick that misses
and Pierce counters with a takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pierce wants to control but Bosu is keeping him busy.
Pierce tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Bosu tries to strike from the bottom but misses.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Bosu is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Pierce is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bosu is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bosu is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pierce's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Pierce! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Bosu has tapped! This one is allllll over!
