Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pebble Braithweight (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Tunstall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Braithweight comes to the cage accompanied by 300 violin. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Ian Tunstall!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braithweight shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Tunstall is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Braithweight seems to be looking for submissions.

Braithweight is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Tunstall as he works his way to full guard.

Braithweight is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Tunstall striking off his back, scoring a few points.

Braithweight drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tunstall looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tunstall looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tunstall!

Tunstall is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Braithweight has escaped the position, nice work there.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Tunstall is trying to get an arm triangle but Braithweight is defending well.
Braithweight on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Braithweight tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Braithweight manages to get back to half guard.
Braithweight is breathing heavily.
Tunstall frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Tunstall jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Braithweight manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Braithweight regains half guard.

Tunstall is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Braithweight sees it coming and defends easily.
Tunstall wants to stand but Braithweight has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.

Braithweight actively working from the bottom here.
Braithweight works his way to full guard. Good work.

Braithweight had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tunstall is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Braithweight Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tunstall's back instead.
Tunstall manages to reverse the position and now he's in Braithweight's guard. Nice work there by Tunstall.

Tunstall thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tunstall throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Braithweight works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Tunstall would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Tunstall must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Braithweight working for a triangle but Tunstall defends it easily.

That's time! Braithweight's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Tunstall tries to clinch up.
Braithweight misses with a takedown attempt - Tunstall sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Braithweight feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Braithweight drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Braithweight jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Tunstall lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Braithweight!
Tunstall scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tunstall looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Braithweight looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Tunstall puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Tunstall looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Pebble Braithweight overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Tunstall is looking for a kimura but Braithweight is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tunstall to get the leverage.
