Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trip Kenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Trip Kenzie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Smith! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Kenzie has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Smith clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Smith defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Kenzie is trying to stick to Smith's back but Smith is turning into Kenzie. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Kenzie's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Smith. Kenzie utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Smith is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Smith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Smith with a flurry of punches that miss. Kenzie can't keep his opponent in guard - Smith advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Smith is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kenzie doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smith. Kenzie tries to get to full guard but Smith has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kenzie pushes Smith off looking to stand but Smith dives back in and keeps control.
Smith is thwarting Kenzie's attempts to control the position. Kenzie tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control. Smith is looking for a kimura but Kenzie is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Smith to get the leverage. Smith is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Kenzie is trying to stand up here but Smith is controlling him well. Smith wants to take a breather but Kenzie is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Smith is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kenzie has managed to free his arm - good work. Smith looks gassed! Kenzie regains full guard. Nicely done. Kenzie looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Smith trying to control but Kenzie is working from the bottom. Smith drops back looking for a leg! Kenzie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kenzie manages to kick Smith off! Smith jumps back into Kenzie's guard. Kenzie lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Smith!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kenzie trying to control but Smith is having none of it. Smith is in a horrible position here. Kenzie smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
It looks like Phil Smith has been cut. Smith working to try and regain half guard.
Kenzie breaks from Smith's wrist control and lands an elbow. Kenzie landing punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Smith bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kenzie pushes Smith off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kenzie closes the distance and pushes Smith back into the cage. Kenzie breaks from the clinch.
Kenzie throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Kenzie fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Smith, pushing him back against the cage. Kenzie breaks the clinch.
Kenzie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Kenzie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kenzie tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Smith swivels and escapes. Kenzie rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kenzie's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Trip Kenzie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Phil Smith's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kenzie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Kenzie misses with a two punch combination.
Kenzie looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Smith is fending him off so far but Kenzie persists. Nope, Smith circles away and we're back to standing. The fight moves into the clinch position. Kenzie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kenzie closes the distance and clinches up with Smith, looking for a takedown. Kenzie pushes Smith against the cage but Smith circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Smith gets a takedown into half guard. Smith is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kenzie tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Smith!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Phil Smith!
